Challenging Projects

At Unlimited Welding accomplishing difficult and challenging projects has gained us a customer satisfaction record that is second to none.

Unlimited Welding had fun with these vent stacks, which were produced for a five-star hotel in Orlando. The vents were fabricated from aluminum and copper, and the caps were spun on a wood lathe to form the needed shape without any welds or seams. The "slots" in the vents are actually black vinyl stickers. Once completed, the assemblies were attached to a steel base and screwed into the roof sub system.

These train cars are the main focal point at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada. The owner wanted a replica of an old time train. The following components were used for the cars: steel channels, angles, flat bar plates and tube steel. In the evening, the cars light up, and have silhouettes of passengers as if they were eating dinner, reading the newspaper or conversing.

For this project, Unlimited Welding provided longitude and latitude grid lines on the side of a local attraction. The project required 203 wall brackets, which had to be placed prior to the installation of the exterior foam system. Placement of the brackets was critical and each location was drawn in AutoCad to ensure precision. Overall, 1,520 feet of tube was used. Each grid line was rolled on site for an exact fit and then polished to a 180-grit finish.
